Tessa, prior to working in Personal Counselling, Career Coaching and Leadership Development,
had her own corporate career spanning sixteen years. She worked with
McDonalds and British Airways in sales/marketing, HJB Group, Marric and
Mondo Search in executive recruitment and still works with Lifeline and
the Domestic Violence Line as a Superviser, Trainer and Board Member.
She is also a regular speaker at HR and Leadership Workshops on the
prevention and early detection of psychosocial issues in the workplace
and on building better leaders.
Some of her achievements have included:
Successfully coaching executives and those in career
transition with over 70 coaching programs, 16 interview training
programs, 27 Leadership Development programs and in her former life,
over 200 executive recruitment assignments, .
Supporting counselling clients via over 700
hours of face-to-face counselling experience covering couples, career,
relationships, body image issues, depression, anxiety, and grief
Assisting distressed callers and managing
staff who do so by supervising for over ten years on the Lifeline and
Domestic Violence line telephone counselling services. This encompasses
crisis management, domestic violence prevention/management and suicide
intervention.
Co-facilitation of the Suicide Bereavement Support Groups for Lifeline

enjoys supporting leaders and potentials leaders with individual and
team coaching and supporting private clients needing coaching or
counselling in their personal lives. A key focus has been on fostering
